Just out of the box, you can tell that this magnet is going to have some power with it. We are able to use this magnet on the outside of our phone case and it still sticks and it’s very hard to remove. You can also charge with it on which is another fantastic feature. It has a very low profile, and is hardly noticeable overall. This magnetic ring holder deserves five stars, and then some!

This is the heaviest MagSafe finger grip I’ve ever bought. It weights in at 44g. Anker’s, by comparison, is 27g, 17g less. You might say this grip is too heavy. But you’d be wrong. 44g (1.5oz.) is fairly insignificant when you realize is magnetic strength completely blows away all other finger grips, especially regarding its sheer strength (it’s pull force perpendicular to the iPhone) which is strong, really strong. An added bonus is that it comes with another magnet on the backside so it sticks to any magnetic metal surface. The ring smoothly spins 360⁰ and fits my large fingers. Andobil did a great job with this finger grip, and I can unreservedly recommend it. No consideration of any kind has been accepted for this review.

The content is no disappointment, in fact it justifies the relatively high price. Everything is top quality in this kit, from the magnetic rings, the metallic plates, even the manual, to the ring holder itself. I was skeptical about relying on the magnetic ring of my phone case to strongly attach to this ring holder enough that it won't come off and see my phone crashing face first. My skepticism quickly went out the window when I tried this holder on. It snapped to the back of the phone forcefully and wouldn't come off easily even if I tried. It surely has some strong magnet. The holder also attached to my magsafe car mount quite well, the magnets on its back are also quite strong that removing the phone of the car mount results in the ring holder coming off the phone and staying attached to the car mount! I should say that my car mount is one of the strongest I ever tried too (SUPERONE Mag Safe Car Mount [23 Strong N55 Magnets]). I like the carbon fiber texture and the soft rubberized backing that comes in contact with the phone, protecting the phone from any scratches. I should mention that I'm not using this with an iPhone but rather on an S22 Ultra with a magsafe compatible case and it's working flawlessly. Unlike another reviewer, my phone lost the capability of wireless charging with this holder on. I'm not sure why the reviewer claimed it's a plus that he/she can still charge wirelessly when the manual clearly says it won't work with wireless chargers! However I don't think it's a huge deal as all I'd have to do is remove it before put it on a wireless charger. Not a biggy but an inconvenience for sure. The kit also include a ruler to line up the additional magnetic rings on the back of iPhones or cases that don't support magsafe. The instructions say to line the template basically right on the center for the magnetic ring to go on. I presume that's where the charging coils are on the iPhones. However lining it over my already magsafe case showed the ring slightly to the bottom rather centered in my S22 Ultra. One downside I uncovered by using this on a Samsung S22 Ultra is it'll interfere with the stylus and render it non functional to write on screen. Not a fault of the device as it was not intended for Samsung to begin with. Another missed point on the design: I find it hard to pull the finger ring out. Unlike other ring holders this one doesn't have a groove to make easy to lift, and getting your fingernail underneath it to lift can be challenging. Overall I give this 5 stars for its quality and strength.

I think I would rather it lock into different notches as you spin around because at times when I had on my finger within ring, the phone would rotate and spin with the finger ring. I feel this works great with the PLUS and MAX iPhone models as it helps making that phone more manageable in portrait and landscape mode in hands. I also tried with the 14 pro model 6.1 and as it did help in portrait mode when taking pictures, I could not find a comfortable holding angle when taking video in landscape, while my fingers did not get in the way of the camera. This also works well as a stand for the phone. Can be used in vertical or horizontal standing. Strong enough to hold up while typing on screen as well. I first had the popsocket magsafe setup and it worked well then comparing to this ring style, it might not be as comfortable but it definitely makes you feel more secure holding your phone as the popsocket sits in between your fingers but can easily slide off. With the ring setup this is on your finger and it just feels more secure holding your device. Yes, as people have mentioned this is priced fairly high but made very well and looks just as nice as it is made. If I would have to give a suggestion for further improvement, put some sort of notch on the ring to help to pull out and maybe have a small switch on the side like computer mice do with the scroll wheel, one that allows for free flowing ring in 360 degrees and one setting for locking positions. It’s nice that it conforms to your hand movement with the ring moving to your desired position but at times I was looking for that ring to hold a certain position of the phone while in my hand and it would just rotate too freely. Do to the quality of this item, this is a brand I would keep an eye on to check out other innovative creations they create.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give 5 star products. I've been using it for a few weeks now and the magnetic strength is top notch. I can watch a movie with my phone attached to the mirror, and even snap it to my refrigerator to record video with the stand. It was a very novel experience for me and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns an iPhone 12 Pro Max
