Be sure to compare your phone to the COMPATIBLE MODELS popup in the "bullet" features section. This dash/vent mount vehicle phone holder is for MAGSAFE mobile devices. Best advice I can give: Follow the clear instructions carefully and you will have an easy installation. If the dash mount spring clamp cannot get a good enough grip, there are Velcro adhesive pads which can be used - for dashes which have a steeper angle. In our case, both of our vehicles (Bronco II and Sable) have shallow angles and the spring clamp provided enough grip without the Velcro pads. As an option you get an air vent clamp which is well designed and sturdy - be careful not to over tighten to avoid cracking those plastic air vent louvers. This dash mount phone holder is replacing a similar dash mount with a spring clamp - however, it could only hold a phone horizontally. The ANDOBIL dash mount has a universal ball-joint which allows 360 degree rotation and angling. This pleases my daughter a lot because she loves using her GPS mapping and prefers a vertical map so that she can see further down the map road (instead of the distance limited horizontal map view). If your phone or phone case is magnetic, you do not need to apply magnetic rings to either. The instructions suggest that it is better to apply the magnetic ring to a case rather than the phone because they have strong adhesive and it would be difficult to remove later. The holder comes with 2 clear plastic rings with protective covers that peel off the double sided adhesive and 3 metal rings with protective covers that peel off the adhesive sides. Basically, you apply the clear ring to the phone or case then apply the metal ring to the clear ring. Different phones with the wireless Magsafe have the inner magnet ring in different location. Guide sheets are provided for a wide variety of wireless charging phones to do proper alignment. It as easy to install and setup the ring attachments - again, follow the instructions carefully. We drive on bumpy dirt roads every day and there are no issues with the clamp not holding or the phone wobbling. Our phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G which is wireless charging magsafe compatible. However, there was no charging activity when stationed on the dash mount magnet. HINT: To easily remove the phone from the magnetic dash mount, lift from the bottom of the phone first to use the leverage to reduce the magnetic pull - pulling straight towards you can result in pulling the dash clamp base towards you - lots of magnetic "suction".

I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine program. I will be referring to the actual part of this product that has the magnet as the mount. I will refer to the parts of this product that help mount the product to your dash or vent as the holder. If you don't have time to read my full review, here's a quick list of pros and cons: Pros: * Strong magnetic hold. * Easy to mount and unmount your phone as long as the holder has a firm grip. * Can support your phone in any orientation. * Can be mounted on the dash or via a vent clip. * Includes everything you need to prep and mount the holder of your choice. Cons: * The product does not come with any directions on how to properly mount the holder. * The magnetic grip of this item is so strong that it may damage or pull off the plastic holder over time. * The vent clip seems like it may damage your vent over time. * The dash holder for the mount may not work with all dashes. This vehicle mount is quite sturdy and works with phones in cases so long as they are MagSafe compatible. The magnet in this mount ensures a very firm fit. This is great in one sense because the phone is unlikely to fall off the mount, except perhaps in an intense collision. However, this also means that you need to have the holder very firmly attached or the holder may break or fall off when you are trying to dismount your phone. There are two mounting options included with this product. One allows you to attach this product to your dash and the other, much simpler option allows you to attach the product to a vent in your car. Let's start with the vent clip option since it requires the least amount of work to set up. This holder clamps on to one of the horizontal or vertical plastic vent covers in your car. You just clean off the vent where you want to attach the clip using the included wipes and press the holder onto the vent. The holder has a large round plastic ball on the end which allows the magnetic mount to lock onto by pressing the ball into the back of the mount. There is a plastic screw ring that helps hold the mount in place more firmly once you figure out the approximate angle you want the mount to have. Just screw the ring down to the holder and it won't slip as much. You can partly unscrew this later if you want to adjust the angle the mount is held at. If you are going to use the vent clip, you really should turn off that particular vent (if your vehicle allows that) while your phone is mounted there. Excessive heat or cold will affect your phone's battery life, if nothing else. The problem that I had with the vent clip is that it doesn't hold onto the vent as tightly as the dash holder attaches to the dash, and this means that you could end up pulling the vent clip holder off of the vent while trying to remove your phone from the mount. Also, this puts most of the stress of the holder onto a relatively small spot on one of your vents. I'd think that you risk damaging your vent over time if you aren't careful. The dash mount attaches to the dash much more firmly thanks to the velcro adhesive and a very tight spring-loaded pressure pad that presses on the underside of the dash. If you decide you want to use this product semi-permanently in a single vehicle, then the dash mount is what you should use. Unfortunately, there aren't any included directions, so you'll need to figure out the best installation process on your own. Temporarily attach the dash holder to the dash using the spring loaded holder to put pressure on the underside of your vehicle's dash. If your dash doesn't have a moderately thin overhang where you want to mount it, then the vent holder is a better choice. Once you've found a spot that works, pop the magnetic mount into the ball on the end of the dash mount and adjust things to make sure this is the location you want to keep the product in. Once you are sure this is the right location for you, take off the dash mount and clean off the dash using the included cleaning wipes and put the dash mount back into place. You can use the included velcro tabs (that glue down to your dash and the dash mount itself) to provide better, more stable gripping and make sure the dash holder won't slip. Pop in the magnetic mount and screw down the plastic ring over the top of the ball and socket attach point once you've adjusted the angle of the magnetic to the appropriate angle. To adjust the angle later, just unscrew the ring somewhat, adjust the angle again and screw the ring back down into place. The dash mount will likely leave marks on the underside of your dash where the spring-loaded pressure plate is, especially if you leave it in place for a long time. Also, the adhesive for the velcro will likely leave a residue if you ever decide to try to remove it. These are not 3M Command Strips. The product I received is standard black plastic. If you're looking for a mount to better color-match your dash or interior, keep this in mind. Once the mount is in place, you attach your phone by touching the back of your iPhone where the magnet is to the magnetic mount. You can adjust the phone to any orientation while attached to the mount. It does require a bit of force to pull the phone off the mount when you are ready to leave. The mount works quite well, so long as you have the holder firmly mounted in place. If you're looking to take the mount with you from vehicle to vehicle, then using the vent clip holder is likely your best option, but the dash mount is much more firm and a better option if you don't plan to remove it from your vehicle. Keep in mind that this product is only a phone mount and does not provide power or data transfer functionality. If you want to charge your phone, you'll need to connect a charging cable to the phone. All-in-all, this mount seems to work pretty well, so long as you don't mind leaving visible evidence of your mount behind in the vehicle. Only time will tell if the black plastic of the holder will survive the rigors of constant heat or cold. I suspect that it will be a problem over time, but then every other phone mount I've ever had uses similar plastic for vehicle mount materials.
