FAQ
1. Think twice about the spots of the installation, a suitable spot should be flat, and can be easily accessible to the monitor. Since the 3M pad is single-use product, repeated removal and pasting will cause it to lose its stickiness.
2. Clean the spot where you need to install the car mount with wet papart, wait for it to dry, tear off the red protective sticker, paste it on and press it with the palm of your hand for 30s.
3. Wait for 24 hours before installing the suction cup.
Note: For windshield, pls don't use the 3M dash pad, use the suction cup directly.

Andobil phone mount is worth every dollar.
To be honest, I didn't expect the Andobil to work as well as it does. It's really quite affordable and I'm accustomed to inexpensive items not performing as well as this car phone mount performs for me. I own an iPhone 8 and chose to use the dash mount with the extender arm rather than the air vent clip. I did not require the additional 3M adhesion disc they provide you (which is a nice gesture... It's really quite affordable and I'm accustomed to inexpensive items not performing as well as this car phone mount performs for me. I own an iPhone 8 and chose to use the dash mount with the extender arm rather than the air vent clip. I did not require the additional 3M adhesion disc they provide you (which is a nice gesture). I applied the mount per the instructions and it held the first time. I do want to acknowledge the fact that in the instructions they mention to ensure you don't mount the phone in a way that would impede airbag deployment which I thought was considerate and I appreciated the reminder. I've traveled over railroad tracks, speed bumps and hit a pot hole that could fit a small volkswagen (ok, maybe not that big) and the mount held it's position unlike other items I've tried. No swivel, no dropping of the phone, no movement whatsoever. I was really impressed. It's not too big that it impeded my vision while driving and it's arm adjustments allow it to be placed in a position that's right for me. For the record, I own a Subaru Legacy. It may or may not relate to the product performance and I thought I'd throw it in anyway. I haven't tried it on any other car. I'm quite happy with this product and I hope it performs as well for you as it does for me.

The Best .... Gives Options for Vent or Dash/Windshield
Like: - The vent option is unique (in my experience) and awesome. Unlike most vent kits, you do not force this one into the vent, hoping you can get it out. Rather there is an adjustable "pincer." It's thumb screw opens and closes the pincer. You open the pincer, place it on the vent, and then close/tighten the pincer. It's firmly there until you reverse the process. - The phone holder then attaches to the ball joint on the vent mount. Once positioned you tighten the screw on the ball and it firmly holds the phone mount in place at your desired viewing angle. - The phone holder easily holds most phones (Samsung S10+ shown here in photos). You push a button and the side clamps pop open. Set your phone in the cradle and push the side closures together around the phone. As you close the sides, they ratchet-click until tight and the phone is firmly in place. To release the phone, push the button and the side clamps easily pop open. - The bottom charger cord fits through the space on the bottom of the phone holder cradle. I did not need to try the suction cup window mount or the dash mount disk setup. They look very well conceived. I like everything about this whole setup... lots of options, well designed, and everything is included! Do know that if you use the vent mount and your vent slats are "floppy" it could be difficult to keep it adjusted at a good angle. Mine works great (Subaru), and I mounted it on the lowest vent slat, so no wobble problems there (note, the mount itself will NOT wobble on the slats, it's only your slats that may tend to close downward with the weight of the phone). (Note: I did not rate the suction cup since I did not have to even try it.) Hint: The vent mount worked so well, and I fished the power cord around my steering column, put a few Command clips to secure, and the cord is totally out of the way.

Turning a 1 star review into a 5 star review
Earlier, I wrote a 1 star review about this product. But then I figured out a solution to the problem, and now I’m writing a 5 star review. The issue was that the phone kept tilting out of place. But that was my fault. The phone has a "360-degree swivel head". I thought that mechanism could not be tightened. But it can. So now that I figured that out, my phone stays in place just fine. But that was my fault. The phone has a "360-degree swivel head". I thought that mechanism could not be tightened. But it can. So now that I figured that out, my phone stays in place just fine. Here’s what I like about this phone holder: The adhesion disk attached to the dashboard very securely. The suction cup is very strong. In fact, I had to remove the suction cup to put it at a better angle. It came off with some effort, and I was worried it wouldn’t stick on again. But it did, very securely. The extender arm works great. The phone doesn’t “jiggle” even when fully extended. I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a large case, and the phone and case fit in the holder securely. The phone is easy to get out of the holder. I recommend this product!

Rock Steady And Secure
When my state went “hands free” recently, I went shopping for a decent car-phone mount. I did not want anything cheap as my car is fairly new, and I wanted the mount to last. I typed in “heavy-duty” because I like my world “Mil-Spec-Overbuilt” and up came Andobil. If you like your mounts on the windshield, or the dash, I don’t, so I can’t tell you about how good the “adhesion” is. I like my mou... Learn more

If you like your mounts on the windshield, or the dash, I don’t, so I can’t tell you about how good the “adhesion” is. I like my mount on the fins of my hot/cold vents. If I was going keep this product it had to work there, and only there. It does. Why? Because it has real metal in the design, and a thick adjustment nut that can take a lot of torque. It is like it was glued to the front of the dash, not just slid on and tightened! Lastly, the bed of the Andobil will take a full-size iPhone-type Max device AND THE CASE easily. The slide-out foot at the bottom ensures that the well-made side arms (With easy-release button) do not do all the work, allowing my device secure grounding on sides and bottom. Sure you’ll pay a little more, but you’ve got a rock-steady platform for your GPS or whatever you need to do with infinite adjustment and security. Hold on to Andobil! It will hold onto you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good, recommended product
This is an excellent choice for an automotive cellphone holder. I looked at many before buying this one. (Basically looking for the cheapest options.) This is not the cheapest but it's worth the price! I've used the cheapies and I think this one is worth the higher cost. It appears to be of pretty high quality with good "fit and finish". It is built very sturdily so I expect it to last a long time. (I see nothing on it that suggests any points of failure.) It comes with a vent mount as well as the windshield mount. It also comes with a metal disc to adhere to the more porous surfaces like dashboard or console. There are several design features worth noting besides the apparent good quality. 1. Nice clamp design for vent holds tightly. Not a "push through" type. 2. one button release for phone. 3. Extendable "arm" for more positioning options. 4. Quality tightening screws and bushings at all joints so it stays nice and steady. 5. Easy to reach and use release lever for suction cup. 6. Good holding power (Be sure to clean windshield area with alcohol pad first to remove any film or residue) 7. "Gap" in holder designed to accommodate power cord. 8. Sized to hold almost any phone. 9.. Really good customer service! (They answered email almost immediately to register the 12 mo warranty.) I have not used this for any long duration yet so I will revise this review if necessary. But at this point I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a mount that appears to be of high quality and longevity.

Universal Holder Last longer.
The newer dash board setups for BMWs newer than 2014 can make your options fairly limited as far as any phone mounts that look right other than the ones that stick to your windshield via suction cups, and there's limited space across the flat space for the suction mats to be of any use. However through Aaron at Andobil, I was told there's a universal latch that fits securely into the vent that will hold the phone steady even when going through mines road in Livermore California. The Original latch lock on my order did not secure tightly for some odd reason but the universal latch/lock provided by Andobil completely limited the motion/shuttering while driving.. to be fair the trade off is that phone position is harder to turn because eof how secure it is and I don't feel like breaking off a piece of my vent clip jf I don't have to. But hell, this Mount is sturdy enough to hold a OnePlus 9 Pro while spiritedly driving down 101.So I can't complain right? No return process was necessary, Aaron was able to address the issue in under 24 hrs.. alot better than most vendors I've interacted with before d^_^b

Good value, well-built and easy to use!
Overall, it’s a nice mount, and at the price it’s a good value. Both the windshield mount and the vent mount are sturdy, with minimal shaking when you hit bumps. The windshield mount does bounce a bit if it’s fully extended, but that’s a pretty minor complaint. It seems simple and intuitive to place the phone in the mount and release it, and the ergonomics are such that I don’t feel like I might drop my phone. And once the phone is mounted it feels really secure, I don’t feel like there’s a chance it’ll pop out if I hit a pothole etc. Fit and finish is very nice for the price, the front face has a carbon fiber look to it, and the plastic feels smooth. The mechanism that grips and releases the phone feels nice, it has detents you can feel/hear as your tightening the clamp. Given that it offers a lot of flexibility, feels sturdy, and is easy to use, it’s a good buy.
